Beach Time!
Not much time to post right now but wanted to link the new pictures. We're doing well - just very busy. Anne Marie adored the beach... would have dived into the waves if we had let her. Really cute.
She's all over the place now and not happy to remain in one place for too long... we've turned our front room into a playroom and not a moment too soon... she's not all that happy unless she's on the move (or at least free to move if she wants to).

Hello!
Thank you for your comment on my travelogue. It is great to hear from friends and family, even though I am often quite bad about responding to them. I figured now is a good time to catch up a bit, though, since I need to write a ten page paper on Turkish accession to the European Union. If you could get Anne Marie's input for me, by the way, it would be very helpful. Anyway, things here are great, I am really enjoying getting to know the culture and the country a little bit at a time. The people here are truly wonderful. Imagine the good-heartedness of the Japanese mixed with the outgoing friendliness of... I don't know, some outgoing friendly people.
Anyway, Anne Marie looks great, and I'm glad to hear the wedding went well and everyone seems to be doing very well.
